Who are we?
IKIKO “International Congress of Intercultural Communication” is a congress in which anyone, regardless of their academic-economic status and language, can participate by contributing material related to intercultural communication. In this venue we involve people of science, through scientific contributions, but also social movements and people without university education, who contribute with experiences, projects and realities. The theme that unites us is intercultural communication. Linguistic Justice, as its name suggests, deals with issues of linguistic justice: we talk about linguistic oppression, cultural domination, inclusive language (in all its categories), minority languages, hate speech, machine learning, bias in artificial intelligence, minority languages? and all the topics that affect the way we express ourselves!

Linguistic Justice is a welcoming, non-judgmental and humane place of learning. It makes us reflect by showing how important it is to know how to value things and to put ourselves in the place of another person, whether it be because of their gender, their level of education, the social situation they live in… All in relation to our linguistic reality.
