Who are we?

IKIKO is the International Congress of Intercultural Communication, which pursues intercultural communication from a broader point of view. It seeks to open a space for reflection not only from the academic world, but also from different spaces (political, economic and linguistic). Within this framework, IKIKO Chile will seek to open a space for reflection on transformative policies that, as a result of social mobilisation and the constituent process, have outlined a new social pact for our country. A new understanding based on plurinationality and interculturality, which encompasses new actors, movements and identities that project the new Chile.

Felipe Seguel Rojas

“Until dignity is customary”.

Emblematic phrase that was written in the public space during the October 2019 revolt in Chile.
